About these terms
GharTake is a local delivery and services platform operating in Pakistan. It connects customers with independent stores and restaurants, delivery riders and drivers, doctors and clinics, and other customers who sell items. These terms apply to everyone who uses the GharTake website, the GharTake app (customer, store and doctor accounts) and the GharTake Rider app.
By creating an account or using GharTake you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use GharTake.
Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to open an account.
- Give true and current information: your name, phone number, addresses and, for partners, business, identity, licence and vehicle details.
- One phone number holds one account per role (customer, store, rider, doctor). Keep your password and verification codes private; you are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Store, rider and doctor accounts may need GharTake's approval before they can work, and can be asked for documents at any time.
Our services
- Shopping and food delivery from stores and restaurants listed on GharTake. The store sells the products; GharTake arranges the order and the delivery.
- Rides and parcel trips with GharTake riders and drivers, priced by vehicle class.
- Buy & Bring: a rider buys the items on your list (after you approve the prices) and delivers them.
- Doctor appointments with independent doctors and clinics.
- Customer marketplace, where customers sell new or used items to each other.
- Store Services for merchants: point of sale, inventory and reports, for a monthly fee when switched on.
Stores, riders, doctors and marketplace sellers are independent. They are not GharTake employees, and each is responsible for their own products, services and conduct.
Prices and fees
Stores set their own product prices. Before you confirm, the app shows the total you pay: products, delivery fee, any service fee, tax where it applies, and discounts. Ride fares, Buy & Bring charges and appointment fees are also shown before you book. The amounts shown when you confirm are the amounts for that order.
Payments
- Cash on delivery: you pay the rider the order total when the order arrives.
- GharTake wallet: you pay from your wallet balance where this option is offered.
- Online payment: you pay by debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard), JazzCash or Easypaisa on the secure payment page of our payment provider, PayFast (APPS). GharTake never sees or stores your card number, CVV or wallet PIN.
- A payment fee may apply to online payments. It covers the bank and wallet charges, is paid by the payer, and is shown with the total before you pay.
- A payment counts as made only when the payment provider confirms it. If money is taken for a payment that GharTake cannot match, contact us with the reference shown on the payment page (it starts with "OP").
Partner charges and dues
Partners pay GharTake for using the platform, at the rates shown in their app or agreed with GharTake:
- Riders hand over GharTake's share of cash collected on cash rides and cash orders, and pay any delivery platform charges.
- Stores pay platform charges for deliveries made by their own riders and, where switched on, Store Services bills.
- Doctors pay GharTake's commission on appointments paid at the clinic.
- Marketplace sellers pay the seller commission on completed sales.
Dues can be paid online in the apps (card, JazzCash or Easypaisa) or by the other methods shown in the app. GharTake may stop sending new orders or rides to a rider, or pause new listings for a seller, while their unpaid dues are above the limit shown in the app.
GharTake wallet
Your wallet records money you add, refunds, earnings and payments inside GharTake. You can add money online or by the methods shown in the app, and withdraw your available balance to a verified bank, JazzCash, Easypaisa or Raast account (minimum Rs 100). The wallet is not a bank account and earns no interest. GharTake may hold or correct wallet entries made in error or connected to fraud.
Delivery and rides
- Delivery times are estimates. Please be available at the delivery address, and share the delivery PIN only with the rider when you receive your order.
- Riders follow road and safety laws, keep their live location on while they have a job, and verify pickups and deliveries with PINs where required.
- Prohibited, illegal or dangerous items may not be ordered, carried or sold through GharTake.
Doctor appointments
GharTake helps you find doctors and book a time slot. GharTake is not a medical provider and does not give medical advice. The doctor is responsible for the consultation, prescriptions and reports. In an emergency, go to the nearest hospital or call emergency services; do not wait for an appointment.
Customer marketplace
In the marketplace, the buyer and seller deal with each other. The buyer pays the seller directly, and GharTake is not a party to the sale. If GharTake delivery is chosen, the rider only carries the item. Sellers must own what they sell, describe it honestly and keep their promises to buyers. GharTake may remove listings and restrict sellers that break these rules.

When you can cancel, and how and when refunds are paid, is explained in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Acceptable use
Do not place fake orders, misuse promotions, refunds, PINs or referral rewards, harass riders, stores, doctors, sellers or our staff, use someone else's account, or try to interfere with the apps or the website.
Suspension and closing accounts
GharTake may suspend or close an account for fraud, abuse, unsafe conduct, unpaid dues, serious or repeated breaches of these terms, or when the law requires it. You can delete your account from Account settings in the app. Amounts owed to GharTake remain payable after an account is closed.
Liability
Stores are responsible for their products, doctors for their medical services, and sellers for the items they sell. As far as the law allows, GharTake is not liable for indirect losses, or for delays and failures caused by events outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of Pakistan.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Please contact us first; most problems are solved through Support. Disputes that cannot be settled are decided by the courts of competent jurisdiction in Pakistan.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the current version. For important changes we tell you in the app before they take effect. Using GharTake after a change means you accept the new terms.
Agreements you accept in the apps
When you register, the apps ask you to accept these agreements. They form part of these terms.
GharTak Platform Terms & Conditions

By creating a GharTak account, you agree to use the platform lawfully and honestly; provide accurate identity, contact, location and transaction information; comply with applicable laws and GharTak operational rules; protect your account credentials; and accept that orders, payments, delivery events, support interactions, security verification and account actions may be logged for platform operation, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution and lawful requests. GharTak may suspend or restrict accounts for fraud, abuse, unsafe conduct, non-payment, material policy violations or legal requirements. Fees, delivery charges, commissions and other amounts displayed or agreed through the platform are binding for the relevant transaction, subject to applicable consumer and other mandatory law.
Customer Registration Agreement

As a GharTak Customer, you confirm that registration information and delivery locations you provide are accurate; you will place only genuine orders; you will pay amounts due using the selected payment method; you will not misuse riders, merchants, support, refunds, promotions or delivery security PINs; and you understand that delivery and location events may be preserved to resolve order disputes and safety complaints.
Merchant Registration & Platform Agreement

As a GharTak Merchant, you confirm that the business identity, store location, products, prices, images, inventory, tax/registration information and payout/payment information you provide are accurate and authorized. You agree to honor accepted orders, platform commissions/fees and any activated Store Services subscription charges; comply with food, medicine, consumer, licensing and other laws applicable to your business; maintain safe fulfillment practices; and preserve accurate transaction information for disputes, accounting and lawful investigations.
Rider Registration, Safety & Delivery Agreement

As a GharTak Rider, you confirm that your identity, CNIC, licence/vehicle documents and location information are genuine and current. You agree to follow road and safety laws; use only your own approved account; protect customer/merchant information; collect or remit cash and platform dues accurately; follow pickup/delivery verification and PIN procedures; keep live location available while required for assigned deliveries; and cooperate with legitimate safety, payment, complaint and investigation processes.
